Decorate a Christmas Star

Yes, I know, it is bit early to be talking about Christmas!!! Sorry!

At St Denys’ we are starting to plan how we will decorate the church, ready for our Carol Service on Sunday 18th December and our celebrations during Christmas.

As part of our decorations, we plan to use some bright and festive hanging stars.

We would like to invite our congregations and as many members of the Rotherfield village community as possible to participate.

The star can be decorated in whatever way you would like; using whatever materials you have to hand. Our colour scheme will be red, green and gold.

Possible ideas for decoration might something relating to the Christmas story - a manger, an angel, shepherds or a sheep, wise men, camels, . . . or from a Christmas carol – holly, ivy, candles . . or Christmas trees, reindeer or presents.

For best effect, the stars should all be the same size, so they can be hung together. Please use this template here to make your star.
