Evening Service

There will be only one evening service in August on the 1st Sunday of the month.

Holy Communion 1st Sunday

This service is a modern version of the Book of Common Prayer. Traditional hymns are used and there is an address of around 15 minutes.

Informal Worship 2nd Sunday

This, as the title suggests, involves a freer, more modern style of worship and includes worship songs led by keyboard and various musical instruments. Some services will focus on a theme e.g. All Age, Healing and Wholeness, or Taize.

Evening Prayer 3rd Sunday

This service is taken from the Book of Common Prayer and is in traditional language. The service has traditional hymns and is organ accompanied; when possible the service takes the form of Evensong.

Night Prayer 4th Sunday

A quiet and reflective service lasting about 30 minutes with periods of meditation. It is based on the 8th century service of Compline. The service is followed by tea and cakes!

Prayer around Church 5th Sunday

This service focuses on the life and ministry of the local church. As we walk around the church we stop at various places (eg font, pulpit etc...) in order to pray and read relevant Bible passages.
